Simply Inspired Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by!

If you’ve come here from Miss Sheri R then YOU are in the right spot!

If you’ve been following this Blog Hop then you know by now the “theme” this month is “SkyLark” Why Skylark? you might ask. Well – here’s a few good reasons why. When you sign up as a Close To My Heart consultant you will receive the Skylark Paper pack in your New Consultant kit! When you sign up during the month April you’ll also receive a FREE Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge. Your choice of the three! So we wanted to show some fabulous, fun projects that you can create with this beautiful paper. I hope you’ll feel “Simply Inspired”

I love little decorative displays that use my stamps, papers and other goodies. This month I’ve created a little “DoDad” that sits on my entryway table.

I love, love how it turned out!

I used the My Creations Memory Showcase accordion album. I cut the front and back off using the Micro tip scissors  (like an exact knife) with a metal ruler. I “fussy cut” the B&T from the Skylark paper pack so the bird was the focal point. Smart huh?? Then I used the CTMH scallop punch (love!), glitter paper, kraft and sweet leaf  B&T from the paper pack. I stamped the little vine from B1432 Love This stamp set with Desert Sand ink.

I made my flowers and leaves from the Artist cartridge. Page 54 >f key >accent 2. I made three different sizes and used the quilling tool to roll them up.

The little word stamp was a special stamp from the CTMH Convention 2013 and the Rediscover Events. “Rediscover CTMH” was here in Phoenix and I was a winner!! LucKy, LucKy ME!!

Now Hop on over to Dana K and you can start all over!  See all the great ideas using the Skylark Paper!
